Invitation to Check Taxpayer Status
PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 5174 and the Regulation on the Elections of the Organs of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, members must be taxpayers subject to income tax or corporate tax due to their commercial or industrial activities in order to exercise their right to vote and stand for election in the elections for the organs of our Exchange, which will be held in October–November 2026.
In this context, Exchange records regarding members' tax liability status will be available for review at the Exchange’s Member Relations Department on weekdays during business hours (08:30–17:30) between September 23, 2026, and October 9, 2026.
Members are required to check their Exchange records concerning tax liability within the specified period; if any errors or omissions are detected in the records, they must apply for a correction to the Exchange’s Member Relations Department by submitting a written petition signed by authorized person(s) along with documents verifying their tax liability status.
For members who fail to carry out the necessary checks and notifications within the specified period, the existing Exchange records regarding tax liability shall be deemed correct, pursuant to Article 8 of the Regulation on the Elections of the Organs of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.
