30 August Victory Day Message from STB President Mustafa Genç
Mustafa Genç, Chairman of the Board of the Sakarya Commodity Exchange (STB), issued a written message on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day. Chairman Genç emphasized that this great victory stands as the most powerful symbol of the Turkish nation's determination for national unity and solidarity, as well as its refusal to ever compromise on its independence and freedom.
Noting that the Turkish nation has never accepted captivity throughout history and that we live freely on these lands today thanks to the epic struggle waged by our ancestors at the cost of their lives, STB Chairman Mustafa Genç stated: "The August 30 Victory, one of the most significant turning points in our glorious history, serves as a source of inspiration that guides us as we build our future. It is our collective responsibility to uphold this sacred legacy left to us by our ancestors and to carry our country and city toward a much stronger future in the economic, commercial, and social spheres. As the Sakarya Commodity Exchange, acting with this sense of responsibility, we continue to work resolutely to ensure production, investment, and sustainable growth."
Expressing that Sakarya holds a distinguished place in Turkey’s development thanks to its robust industry, productive agriculture, and the spirit of the National Struggle, Chairman Genç concluded his message by saying: "On this day of pride, I commemorate with mercy, gratitude, and appreciation all our martyrs and heroic veterans who sacrificed their lives for the indivisible integrity of our homeland—foremost among them the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms. Happy August 30 Victory Day to my fellow citizens of Sakarya and to our beloved nation."
